This event kicked-off at 9am. Along with the Indoor Soccer event, there was a water soccer competition too. Children enjoyed it a lot as can be seen from their reluctance to come out of the football pool even long after the event ended!

The Guest of Honour was Mr Lim Kia Tong, Vice-President, FAS & Chairman, Football Excellence Committee. There was plenty of excitement in the air was over 78 teams, including 8 girls teams were competing for the coveted first price!

FAS Talent identification team was there and was able to pick few candidates for the Youth Olympic games 2010 from both the boys and the girls team.

To promote the up-coming Lion City Cup Under-17 Championships (LCC:
10 - 15 March 2008), the Australian team, one of 6 foreign teams participating in the LCC, played an exhibition 5s match with our NFA U-16s at 9:05am.

Lions Head Coach, Raddy was here to give away prizes to the winning teams.
